Wave 3 News: Pittsburgh Shooting

   As I was searching through the all of the articles over the shooting in the Pittsburgh Synagogue one specifically caught my eye. It was an article over how the local community feels about the shooting, specifically the Jewish community. They talked to the president of the Jewish Community Center and she expressed her feelings. She also said that the rest of the community is sending all of their love and support, which is fascinating because the Jewish community in Louisville is rather small. Besides how heart warming the story was, it was covered very well and the approach of the story overall was good.
    I believe interviewing the same community but in a different area was very well thought out. It seems that Wave 3 news is allowing for an outlet for this community so they can say how they truly feel about the shooting. This is important because that shooting was a national tragedy and everyone has their thoughts on it. They use a quote that responds to all the diversity of Louisville and then another one about the Kroger shooting saying that we will mourn all the loses no matter from where they come from. I feel like this was the perfect quote to use because it shows that even from Louisville we will show our support.
    All in all, Wave 3 News  does a very well job on covering national stories with big intentions.
